The Big Deal
It’s not just big...It’s Mammoth!
Luke 19:9-10
When you think about it...it is a big deal. It’s a big deal to serve. It’s a big deal to participate. It’s a big deal to pray. It’s a big deal to give. After all...these are the things Jesus did while He was here on the Earth.
I wonder what it was like to be around Jesus. Those who were around Him many times missed the “Big Deal”. It was almost like He didn’t want anyone to realize what He was doing. Even how He was born was a major downplay of the “Big Deal”.
In the Theme Text for 2009 Jesus gives us a hint as to what the “Big Deal” should be in our lives as He models it in His life—The Lost.
This is almost a slap in the face for the world (and sadly the church) today. We are more worried about our own thing or how we are treated than the “Big Deal”.
It is very important in our time to spread the Gospel. If you want to be a part of the “Big Deal”...there are few better places to do that than at Camp.
I challenge you at what ever level you can be involved to be a part of what we are trying to accomplish at PVCC. Why? Because it is a Big Deal to make a difference in the lives of those who come here.

Teen Counselor Training
Attention Teens!!!
If you want to volunteer at PVCC this year you MUST attend
one of the Teen Volunteer Training Days at the Camp. They are being held on the
following dates starting @ 10:00 AM:
March 28th
• April 25th

Summer Camp Help Needed
Maintenance Helper—Live at the camp for the summer and assist in the general maintenance work at the camp. This is a paid position. Must be older than 18.
Lifeguard—Insure safety for the campers while swimming and maintain the pool. This is a paid position.
Kitchen Helper—Live at the camp for the summer and assist the cooks in the cleaning duties of the kitchen. Must be older than 18. This is a paid position.
Camp Nurse—Volunteer to work during one (or more) of the camps to insure the medical safety of the campers and staff. This is a volunteer position. Nurses, Paramedics, or EMTs are encouraged to work this position.
